Prabhu Sah, Chairman of the Parliamentary International Relations and Labour Committee visit Consulate office

An interaction program with Mr Prabhu Sah, Chairman of the Parliamentary International Relations and Labour Committee, and Narendra Sah, Member of Parliament and Leader of Terai Madesh Sadbahwana Party, was held at the Consulate General of Nepal in Victoria office on Saturday, 7th January 2017.

Hon. Consul General, Mr Chandra Yonzon, greeted and wrap khada shawls on the leaders, who arrived at the airport on official visit. Community leaders, members and media personnel were also present.

The delegates visited the Consulate Office of Victoria on Friday, 6 January 2017, to discuss the role Consulate office plays in the promoting tourism of Nepal in Australia, services the office provides and the ways the office provides support to Nepalese people.

The Hon. Consul General also highlighted the significance of the Consulate Office and the support it provides to Nepalese people in Victoria. In the program, the participants raised queries on tourism promotion, foreign investment in Nepal, and the problems and challenges that have risen due to the country’s current political instability.
